Methodology

Our Approach

How an app gets from an idea to a listing people download, without the middle being a black box.

  1. 01

    Flows Before Screens

Who the app is for and what they need to do first, mapped as flows so the screen list comes out of the problem rather than a wishlist.

  2. 02

    Every State Designed

Empty, loading, error, offline and full states drawn for every screen, then made clickable and reviewed on a real phone.

  3. 03

    Fortnightly Builds

A build on your own device every two weeks through TestFlight and Play internal testing, from the first cycle onward.

  4. 04

    Performance On Real Devices

Frame rate, cold start and memory measured on a mid-range Android as well as the newest iPhone, against budgets agreed up front.

  5. 05

    Store Review Handled

Privacy manifests, permissions, data disclosures and age ratings prepared as we build, then submission and review managed end to end.

  6. 06

    Post-Launch Iteration

Crash monitoring, analytics review and a prioritised change queue, because the first release is where the real feedback starts.

Common challenges

Ready To Build Your App?

The problems clients usually arrive with — and how each one gets handled.

  • Not sure native or cross-platform?

We size it against what your app actually does with the hardware. Most products ship cross-platform for roughly two-thirds the cost; we say so when native genuinely earns its extra budget, and when it does not.

  • An app nobody opens twice?

Retention is usually a first-run problem. We instrument the funnel from the first release, so the second version is argued from where people actually drop out rather than from opinion.

  • Stuck in App Store review?

Most rejections trace back to privacy disclosures, permissions or account deletion. We handle those as we build and manage the review correspondence, including appeals, rather than guessing at resubmission.

  • Inherited a codebase you cannot ship?

We audit the code, dependencies and release setup, then give you an honest read on whether to continue it or rebuild the parts that will keep costing you — including when the answer is not the one we would profit most from.

  • App falls over without signal?

Local-first storage and a sync layer with conflict handling, so the app stays usable offline and reconciles cleanly rather than silently losing what someone entered.
